what i’m doing now

hi, i'm lucinda. everything i'm building currently lives on this board: businesses, experiments, and the occasional tool that escaped the lab.

i ran a 20m-reader education business as ceo, helped it exit, and retired for approximately eleven days. now i'm building a portfolio of personal and business projects (sneak peek below) as well as taking on a few aligned clients for fractional ops and web builds.

current status: the return of fable resulted in more time spent in claude than i would like to admit. mixed results:

  • shipped a 'mystery shopper' tool that gives a scorecard for the ai and human experience on (local) busines websites.
  • replaced my $20/ per month superwhisper transcription tool with a free version i built myself
  • shipped v1 brochure sites for uplift digital & new normal health, as well as this page :)
  • upgraded my partner's backend (not like THAT): his massage business went from 5 scatterd tools to a single supabase with proper auth β€” one CRM, one login with five years of client history
  • messed up my circadian rhythm. watching england play football until 2am certainly hasn't helped

i did manage to balance out all the code with many hours in garden, mostly pulling up meters of winding weed roots, perhaps with the naive hope that i've eradicated the problem (watch this space).

meanwhile in my NTP study we're currently learning about cardio-metabolic health. i have never heard so much about the biochemistry of lipids before. it's quite overwhelming and the first time in a while where my brain learning capacity has been genuinely stretched!

rescued 5,751 notes from anytype and converted them into a proper markdown second brain powered by obsidian. would recommend.

in slightly less nerdy news, i went to the dutch burning man - it was during a heatwave and intense thunder storm. somehow every workshop i tried to attend was canceled but the burn itself was epic - lasers, fountains, fire, movement and sound came together in one incredible sensory experience.

this diary starts here. everything before this is lost to the void.
